Made predominantly of Aisi 304 stainless steel for internal and visible parts, Aisi 430 in non-visible or minor parts; steel pre-painted steel for the outer back, outer bottom. The insulation is made of HFO polyurethane that has a GWP level of 0 in respect of the environment. It works with cell temperatures down to -38 °C. The control system provides for two types of blast chilling, a light blast and an intensive blast chilling; the blast chilling temperature, which is set at 3 °C by the factory, can be reached either by time, or by means of a pin probe that detects the temperature at the core of the product. There are also two types of deep-freezing, one light and one intensive, the temperature is set at -18 °C and also in this case it can be by time or pin probe. The system also includes a pre-cooling function, which is very useful to have a suitable start-cycle condition, and a holding function that is automatically activated at the end of the blast chilling or deep-freezing cycle, and adjusts to the temperature of the primary unit.
